The porous nature of powdered activated carbon endows it with adsorption and filtration ability, and the impurities adsorbed by it can be cleaned up in the sand filter or membrane filter process. Powder activated carbon can be used to adsorb and remove various pollutants in water, such as pesticides, benzene residues, volatile organic compounds, as well as some heavy metals and chlorides.

Usually, in the process of a powder activated carbon dosing system, the powder carbon is first put into a dissolution dosing tank for mixing and pulping, and then fed into raw water or sewage for treatment through a metering dosing pump.
